This course provides line maintenance personnel with training to operate and perform flight line maintenance for the Embraer Executive Jet L450/500 Pro Line Fusion System.This course is designed to teach troubleshooting for box replacement and does not include internal maintenance of any component.

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to:
1. Provide an overall understanding of Pro Line Fusion Avionics principles and operation.
2. Identify system components and the functional/operational characteristics of each line replaceable unit (LRU).
3. Identify typical aircraft system interface/system architecture.
4. Perform fault isolation to a faulty LRU using built-in test diagnostics.
5. Identify end user system software loading requirements.

Tailwind 500/550

Through the use of classroom lectures, installation and maintenance personnel will be provided sufficient information that they will be confident in their ability to install, checkout and troubleshoot common issues on the Rockwell Collins Tailwind 500/550 Satellite TV system.


Upon completing this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Identify Line Replaceable Units (LRU) within the Tailwind 500/550 system.

  2. Install and utilize Tailwind Antenna Installation Tool (TAIT).

  3. Install and utilize the RCTV 5000 spectrum analyzer.

  4. Identify possible faulty areas for audio and video failures.

Venue™ HD Cabin Systems Commonalities and Differences on Aftermarket, Falcons and Globals

This course provides line maintenance personnel with training on system components, concept of operation, and operation of the diagnostics tool. Through the use of classroom lectures, and practical exercises (as available), maintenance personnel will be provided with a basic knowledge to aid in efficiently and effectively troubleshoot the Venue™ system.

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to:
1. Identify Venue™ Aftermarket, Falcon, and Global line replaceable units (LRU).
2. Identify optional Venue™ products (i.e. Wireless Access Point (WAP) and Catalog Transfer Application (CTA)).
3. Understand system operation.
4. Perform a software conformity check using the Test and Simulation Tool (TST).
5. Check system status at the High Definition Touch Screen Equipment (HSTE).
