Cabin Electronic System Version 7, 8, 9, and 10

This course provides line maintenance personnel with training to operate and perform flightline maintenance for the Challenger 605, Global 5000 and Global 6000 (XRS) Cabin Electronic Systems.

1. Provide an overall understanding of Challenger 605, Global 5000 and Global 6000 (XRS), Cabin Electronic System principles and operation.
2. Identify system components and describe the functional/operational characteristics of each line replaceable unit (LRU).
3. Identify CES system interface and architecture to include ring, star and Challenger 605 configurations.
4. Identify TSE/HTSE operations.
5. Perform fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures.
6. Perform CES related software loading procedures

1. Identify Line Replaceable Units (LRU) within the Tailwind 500/550 system.
2. Install and utilize Tailwind Antenna Installation Tool (TAIT).
3. Install and utilize the RCTV 5000 spectrum analyzer.

Venue™ HD Cabin Systems Commonalities and Differences on Aftermarket, Falcons and Globals

This course provides line maintenance personnel with training on system components, concept of operation, and operation of the diagnostics tool. Through the use of classroom lectures, and practical exercises (as available), maintenance personnel will be provided with a basic knowledge to aid in efficiently and effectively troubleshoot the Venue™ system.

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to:
1. Identify Venue™ Aftermarket, Falcon, and Global line replaceable units (LRU).
2. Identify optional Venue™ products (i.e. Wireless Access Point (WAP) and Catalog Transfer Application (CTA)).
3. Understand system operation.
4. Perform a software conformity check using the Test and Simulation Tool (TST).
5. Check system status at the High Definition Touch Screen Equipment (HSTE).
